Never Try to Convince Someone to Join Your Network Marketing Company

We all want to build our network marketing businesses. That means signing up others in our downline. And many of us would sign up anyone as long as they were breathing...and would go on an auto-ship! And sometimes we would even convince people to join if we had to.

I'm sure you have learned, like I have, what a mistake that was! I'll never, ever try to convince anyone to join my network marketing company again. Never! It was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made in my MLM career. If you have to convince someone to join it will come back to haunt you.

People that need convincing either don't know what they want or they are unsure about being in business. Regardless, it is not a good idea to convince someone to join your MLM. For one thing if they are unsuccessful at building a business who will they blame? You!

And most people that need some convincing to join your network marketing business will more than likely need convincing to work it. Believe me, you will waste so much time with these people that it could affect the growth of your own network. In fact, it will affect your network.

As a leader you want to have people in your organization that know what they want. You certainly don't need the type of person that is wishy-washy, not knowing what they really want. These are the type of people that need convincing.

People that know what they want will look at a network marketing opportunity and know that it is for them. They will be able to see the potential that awaits them. They don't need to be convinced of anything. They KNOW what they want.

People that need convincing will sooner or later quit. And usually a lot sooner than later. And when they quit it takes no convincing at all. They just quit. They know that they didn't put any effort into building a business but they will say it was you that talked them into the business.

Think about your own experiences in life. Think about the times when someone tried to convince you to do something that you weren't really sure of. It's not a nice feeling being pressured into doing something. And if it involves money that makes things even more difficult.

No one likes losing money and this is what happens when you have to convince someone to join your network. It is difficult trying to sign up distributors at the best of times. But trying to convince a prospect to sign up will make things even more difficult for you down the road.

Stop when you catch yourself in the situation where you begin to try and convince someone to join your MLM business. it will only cause you problems in the future and it is nothing but a waste of your valuable time.
